Add a Dash of Kisses

This work was commissioned for a Christmas gift by the Mother/Grandmother of the 2 pictured. This was such a joy to work on.

Is there any sweeter bond than that of mother & child?

In naming it, I was challenged to find a reference to kisses that wasn't overtly romantic. A line from a Harry Connick Jr. song kept coming to mind, but I dismissed it initially as being lovey-dovey. I went sleuthing on Facebook to learn a bit more about them and was dumbstruck when I learned the granddaughter's name ... Addison! The earworm? "...

add a dash of kisses to make it all complete

..."

Complete ... Perfection!
