A Companion piece to Purple Reign Dancer

I started Flamenco Fleurish back in November, but set it aside for holiday commissions, company, and the invitation to create new work for the upcoming Ekphrastic Show at Mosaic Art Collective.

There is something about the wavy petals of bearded iris that brings to mind a dancer with both a ruffled skirt swirling and the arms posed overhead with a "fleurish." You can almost hear the Spanish guitar and the click of castanets! 💃Jaleo!
