As a child of the 80's certain song lyrics still resonate. The visualization of the lyric, "... Try to catch a deluge in a paper cup..." from Don't Dream It's Over by Crowded House perfectly captures my pursuit of painting waves! Each effort is a fraction of a moment, a mere droplet of the deluge.
To keep things fresh, I zoomed my lens way in on a single billow just breaking at its crest. Crafting a composition highlighting the frenetic salt spray playing in contrast to the plunge beneath the surface of aquas, periwinkles, inky blues & light greens.
A bit of Art imitating life? How many times do we present a bright albeit scattered outer visage while hiding our inner beauty afraid to air our colors in all of their vibrance?
