* Wet Paint Show & Sale, Perkins Cove Plein Air Event, Ogunquit, ME

This year's piece from the Perkins Cove Plein Air Event. I arrived early & grabbed a shady spot in the garden between Barnacle Billy's & The Finest Kind.

I loved how the light filtered through the trees  and how the boughs and garden framed up a view of the blue sailboat tethered in the Cove. While the cove was packed with boats, I added only a few to simplify the composition and convey the idyllic serenity of the scene.
